In short — updated September 2026

In Algeria, a showcase website costs between 15,000 DZD with a student and 200,000 DZD with an agency; an online store between 20,000 DZD (template) and 600,000 DZD. The gap isn't in the "website" itself but in what comes with it: design, content, SEO, follow-up and guarantees. At HelpYotek, a showcase site starts at 70 000 DZD, a catalogue at 110 000 DZD and a store at 170 000 DZD, with hosting and domain included for the first year.

You asked for three quotes and got three prices that have nothing in common: 20,000 DZD, 90,000 DZD, 250,000 DZD. Who's right? Probably all three, because they're not offering you the same thing.

This guide gives you the prices actually charged in Algeria in 2026, explains where they come from and what to plan for after launch. Our own prices are public and listed below, so you can compare with full knowledge.

    Why website prices vary tenfold

"Website" covers very different products. A single page presenting a craftsman and a store managing 500 products, orders and delivery across 58 wilayas don't take the same time or skills.

The provider's profile matters just as much. A student starting out charges for spare time, often on a lightly modified template. An experienced freelancer sells experience. An agency splits the work across design, development, content and follow-up, and stays reachable after delivery.

Finally, two quotes for the same amount can hide very different contents: written copy or not, edited photos or not, basic SEO, training, hosting, maintenance. The real comparison is line by line.

Where does a website's price come from?

A serious quote breaks down into stages. Here's what you pay for at each one, and what happens when it's skipped to lower the price.

    Design

    What you pay for

A visual identity consistent with your brand, readable on phones, that builds trust.

    If it's skipped

A generic template your competitors already use, with your colours on top.

    Content: copy, photos, product pages

    What you pay for

Clear copy that answers customers' questions, edited photos, products entered.

    If it's skipped

Empty pages or placeholder text that stays online for months.

    Basic SEO

    What you pay for

Titles, descriptions, structure and submission to Google so the site can be found.

    If it's skipped

A site nobody finds on Google, even when searching your name.

    Testing and launch

    What you pay for

Checks on phone and computer, tested forms, domain and email configured.

    If it's skipped

A contact form that sends nothing: you lose requests without knowing it.

    Training and support

    What you pay for

Learning to edit your content and having someone to ask after delivery.

    If it's skipped

You depend on the provider to change a phone number.

    After launch: the forgotten costs

The build price isn't the total cost. Every year a site needs a domain name, hosting and, ideally, maintenance.

Is a 20,000 DZD website a bad idea?

Not necessarily. A small budget can be enough, as long as you know what you're buying. Here's when it's reasonable, and what to check.

    It can be enough for…

    • Testing an idea before investing more.
    • A page for an event or a time-limited offer.
    • A personal portfolio that rarely changes.

    What to check before paying

    • Is the domain name registered in your name?
    • Will you get admin access to the site and hosting?
    • Does the site display well and fast on phones?
    • Who answers in six months if the site goes down?
    • Do you get an invoice and a detailed quote?

The checklist before signing a quote

Tick what your quote specifies: the more complete the list, the fewer surprises.
