In short — updated October 2026

In Algeria, a Facebook or Instagram ad usually costs 40 to 120 DZD per WhatsApp conversation and 8 to 30 DZD per click; on Google, a click costs 8 to 120 DZD depending on the industry. To test properly, plan at least 30,000 DZD of ad budget over 15 days (or 45,000 DZD over 30 days), billed in foreign currency by the platforms (CIB and Edahabia cards don't work). Add campaign management and visuals on top. At HelpYotek, a 15-day campaign starts at 20 000 DZD in management fees, ad budget on top.

    15-day campaign, from

    20 000 DZD in fees

    30-day campaign, from

    38 000 DZD in fees

    Editing one visual, from

    3 500 DZD / post

“How much should I spend to sponsor my page?” It's the question we hear most, and the honest answer is: it depends on what you want to get. 5,000 DZD can be enough to test an offer with a few thousand people in your province; a store that wants orders every day will rather spend 30,000 to 100,000 DZD a month.

This guide details what advertising on Facebook, Instagram, Google and TikTok really costs in Algeria in 2026: market prices per platform, how to pay from Algeria, a simulator to estimate what your budget can bring in messages or clicks, and a quiz to pick the right platform.

What you really pay for in a campaign

An ad campaign isn't one price but three items. Mixing them up is the number one cause of bad surprises.

    1. The ad budget

The money paid to Meta, Google or TikTok to show your ads. It buys the impressions, clicks and messages. It's paid in foreign currency and spent down to the last dinar, whether the campaign is well set up or not.

    2. Campaign management

The work of whoever sets the targeting, writes the ads, watches the results and cuts what doesn't work. A poorly set campaign can spend the same budget for half the results.

    3. The visuals

Photos, short videos, Reels: that's what people see. With good media of your own, editing is enough; with nothing, you need full production. A weak visual is expensive: the platform delivers it less well.

    And what people forget

The extra cost of paying in foreign currency (parallel market rate, reseller fee) and answering messages: a campaign that brings 50 conversations a day needs someone to reply fast.

Online advertising prices in Algeria in 2026

Platforms charge through auctions: prices move with your industry, the season and the quality of your visuals. Here are the ranges seen in Algeria this year, still far cheaper than in Europe.

    Facebook / Instagram — 1,000 impressions
    100 – 400 DZD
The cheapest way to get known locally.
Facebook / Instagram — one click
    8 – 30 DZD
To your website, store or catalogue.
Facebook / Instagram — one WhatsApp conversation
    40 – 120 DZD
The most used format for selling in Algeria.
Facebook / Instagram — one contact form
    60 – 250 DZD
Local services: the customer leaves their number without leaving Facebook.
    Google — one click (search)
    8 – 120 DZD
Depends on the industry: see the table below.
Google — one lead (call, form)
    500 – 3,000 DZD
People who were already looking for your service.
    TikTok — minimum budget
    $20 / day (≈ 4,800 DZD)
    Official minimum per ad group.
    TikTok — 1,000 impressions / one click
    360 – 840 DZD / 24 – 60 DZD
Less reliable estimate: only one published source for Algeria.
    Before Eid, back-to-school, late November
    +30 to +70%
Everyone advertises at the same time.

HelpYotek survey from October 2026, based on guides published in 2026 by e-commerce tools and Algerian advertising professionals, and on the platforms' help pages. These are ranges, not promises: your results depend on your offer, your visuals and how you answer messages.

Google Ads: cost per click by industry

On Google, you pay when someone clicks your ad after searching “plumber Bab Ezzouar” or “dental clinic Oran”. The more an industry earns, the more a click costs.

    Retail, shops
    8 – 25 DZD
“appliance store Algiers”, “evening dress Sétif”
    Business services
    20 – 60 DZD
    “accountant Algiers”, “freight transport”
    Training, schools
    30 – 80 DZD
    “English school Oran”, “forklift training”
    Health, clinics
    30 – 90 DZD
    “dentist Bab Ezzouar”, “cosmetic clinic”
    Real estate, construction
    40 – 120 DZD
“apartment for sale Algiers”, “property development”

    Which platform for your business?

Five questions, an honest recommendation: sometimes one well-tuned network beats three half-done ones.

    1. 1.What do you want first?

    2. 2.Do your customers already search for your service on Google?

    3. 3.Who are your customers?

    4. 4.What visuals do you have?

    5. 5.Your ad budget per day?

Answer the 5 questions to see the recommended platform.

    Paying for ads from Algeria

It's every Algerian advertiser's headache: Meta, Google and TikTok bill in foreign currency and only accept international cards. CIB and Edahabia cards are refused.

International card (Visa / Mastercard from an Algerian bank)
    +2 to 4% fees
Low limits; the card is topped up in foreign currency, often bought on the parallel market.
    Reseller billing in dinars
+8 to 20% of the budget
The simplest, but check who owns the ad account.
    Account “top-up” service
+10 to 25% of the budget
Very common; risk of a ban if the account isn't in your name.
    The advertising dollar, in practice
    ≈ 240 DZD or more
    Official rate ≈ 133 DZD, parallel market ≈ 239 DZD (August 2026).

At HelpYotek, the ad budget is always separate from our management fees: it's shown on its own line in the quote and all goes to the platform. You pay it in dinars and we pay the platform for you: no foreign-currency card needed.

    Simulate your ad budget

Enter your daily budget, the duration and the platform: the simulator estimates what it can buy at market prices, the payment surcharge and our management fees.

    Platform

TikTok isn't part of our packages: its $20-a-day minimum (≈ 4,800 DZD, i.e. $600 a month) exceeds most businesses' budgets. Its prices remain in the market price table above.

    Duration

    What this budget can buy

    • Conversations375 – 1 125

    What the campaign costs

    Ad budget over the period
    45 000 DZD
    Payment surcharge
    900 – 1 800 DZD
    Our fees (Basic – Pro)
    38 000 – 64 500 DZD
    Estimated total83 900 DZD – 111 300 DZD

Estimate at the market prices surveyed in October 2026 (low end = expensive platform, high end = cheap platform), at 240 DZD per $1. It's not a promise of results: a message isn't a sale, and your results depend on your offer, your visuals and how fast you reply.

Boost a post or run a real campaign?

The “Boost” button under your posts is tempting: two clicks and you're live. It has its place, but it doesn't do the same job as a campaign built in Ads Manager.

    Setup
“Boost” button : 2 minutes, from the page
Real campaign : Longer: goal, audiences, ads
    Goals
“Boost” button : Engagement, messages or visits, limited choice
Real campaign : All of them: sales, messages, leads, traffic, awareness
    Targeting
“Boost” button : Age, location, basic interests
Real campaign : Detailed audiences, exclusions, remarketing, lookalikes
    Testing
“Boost” button : One post at a time
Real campaign : Several visuals and texts compared, the best one keeps the budget
    Tracking
“Boost” button : Likes and reach
Real campaign : Cost per message, lead or sale, tracked with the pixel
    Best for
    “Boost” button : Promoting a one-off announcement
Real campaign : Getting messages or sales every day

Our advice: boost if you simply want more views on a post that's already doing well. As soon as you expect messages, leads or sales, run a real campaign.
